AIR RIFLE RANGE
HFT/FT
We are very happy to be hosting a round of the 2009/10 Midland Hunter Series on Sunday 17th January.

The HFT/FT range at Furnace Mill Fishery is proving to be very popular.
It consists of a plinking/zeroing range and 30 targets.
Set in beautiful woodland the targets are all at different ranges and heights and set out to UKHFT format.
Members are welcome to bring guests and day memberships are available for those who are new to our range.
The course is open to members each day and we plan to start regular competitions soon which will be held on
Saturdays for those of you who would like to take part.
There are toilets on site and a café which serves hot and cold drinks every day and hot food
at weekends and Bank Holidays.
During the week the opening hours are 10 am until 8pm and at the weekend from 9 am until 8pm.
PLEASE OBSERVE THE OPENINGS TIMES
we have had a few people arrive early on a Sunday and this does not give us time to check the targets.
These times will be extended when the days get longer but likewise change as the days get shorter.
(Please note that until further notice shooting on Sundays from May to September may be limited as the fishery is exceptionally busy at that time of year and between the hours of 12 pm and 3 pm the car park is very crowded)
Please find below photos that Chris Instone has kindly sent to me. He took them at the BSA meet that he organised here at
Furnace Mill Fishery in March 2009. Everyone seemed to have fun and thankfully the weather was far better than the last time they visited us.

If you wish to receive email updates please email: ftinfo@furnacemill.net
with EMAIL UPDATES PLEASE in the subject box.
If you would like me to send you a membership application form please email as above.
I can take a photo on the day and all being well prepare your membership card whilst you are here.
As more information becomes available I will update this page.
We have a few members breaking their PB's which is great to hear - perhaps we should make the course a little harder??
If members would like me to post their scores here or in the fishing lodge please hand in your
completed cards at the end of your round and I will start to record them. If there is enough interest I
will set up a dedicated notice board in the fishing lodge in the New Year where members can leave
messages for others - not everyone has email you know!
Thanks
Jane
