Once again the Sunday open was on Mucky Meadow Pool as there were only the hardy regulars in attendance. This is the last match in the Winter League/Accumulator so by the end of it the top 24 were decided.

The Sunday Open this week was on Mucky Meadow Pool. The overnight snow seemed to put a few anglers off so we only had 8 fishing the match.

The winner was John Newton, Furnace Mill, with 42 lb 11 oz from peg 36.

Kevin Williams wins the open with a cracking bag of silver fish including roach, skimmers, perch and some superb golden orfe giving him a silver weight of 33 lb 6 oz and a combined weight of 46 lb 4 oz.

The Sunday open was on Mucky Meadow Pool this week.

Cold temperatures Friday and Saturday night meant that it was a battle to keep the ice away. We had a tie for first place this week with Bob Skelding, Excelsior Loco, and Paul Cook, Mark’s Tackle, both landing 26 lb.
