Furnace Mill Fishery

First match of the New Year and everyone seemed keen to get out into the fresh air. 16 anglers took part and we used Furnace and Mucky Meadow Pools. In first place was Chris Bradney, Steven's Tackle, with 45 lb 4 oz from peg 48 on Mucky Meadow. Chris used maggot and pellet to land mainly carp. David Hobbis, Vine AC, came in second with a catch of 43 lb from peg 43 on the same pool. 3rd place and the best weight on Furnace this week was from peg 15 where Mick Round, Old Dial AC, landed 41 lb 12 oz.
